Membership

Membership is open via sponsorship by an existing member or upon application.

The current Annual Subscription is £15 (£30 for new members for inaugural year) payable at the beginning of the Society’s golfing year, which commences 01 January each year.

If an applicant does not know an existing member, it is possible to arrange to attend one of our Invitation Meetings as a guest and be accompanied by the Society’s Captain, following which a formal application for membership may then be completed. General enquiries can be made by email to:

Members can complete their Annual Subscription on line by completing and submitting the attached form and paying their subscription direct into the Society’s Bank Account, the details for which are provided on the subscription form. Alternatively, subscriptions can be sent by post to 134-136 South Street, Dorking, Surrey, RH4 2EU. Cheques should be made payable to ‘VAGS’.

The opportunity exists in 2014,for the first time to play The Wisley golf course, a venue not usually open to non members of the club, where the facilities, food and service are second to none. This is a rare treat and an opportunity not to be missed. To commemorate this, there is to be a completely new Captains’ Trophy, to be competed for annually, which will be awarded to the player with the best Stableford score in the singles competition.
